Veolia Romania’s first image campaign speaks about a sustainable future, smart infrastructure, and enhanced comfort for Romanians
  • Veolia Romania’s first image campaign – “Water and energy that give life to the city” – marks 25 years of local presence and consolidates the company’s status as an integrated provider of water and energy solutions for municipalities and industries.
  • The campaign highlights the role of “invisible infrastructure” that supports urban development through integrated water management and complete renewable energy solutions.

“Water and energy that give life to the city” brings forward the invisible infrastructure that supports communities on a daily basis — a technical universe vital for city operations, yet often overlooked. Veolia Romania’s first image campaign reveals how water and energy power everyday life, while also marking 25 years of Veolia’s presence in Romania.

Water and energy - Veolia Romania’s main areas of expertise - become the central pillars of a visual narrative that illustrates how resources are transformed, through world-class expertise and cutting-edge technologies, into greater comfort, lower bills, and increased safety for people. The campaign includes a brand commercial, and a product-focused one dedicated to the innovative GeoExchange solution.

Through this campaign, we are marking not only an anniversary, but also reaffirming the tangible role Veolia plays in managing essential urban infrastructure. Water and energy are at the core of our activity, and our integrated expertise enables us to deliver complex, turnkey projects for both the public and private sectors.

The campaign reflects our commitment to actively contribute to the modernization and efficiency of cities, with a direct impact on the quality of life of people in Romania. At the same time, Veolia’s total contribution to the Romanian economy amounts to €2.31 billion - clear proof of our long-term commitment to the sustainable development of the communities in which we operate." said Mădălin Mihailovici, CEO of Veolia Romania.

The campaign aligns with Veolia Group’s global vision of transforming essential infrastructure into a driver of sustainable development. This vision is reflected in GreenUp, the Group’s strategic direction to accelerate the implementation of decarbonization, depollution, and resource regeneration solutions. In Romania, the technology that best illustrates this approach is GeoExchange - one of the most advanced renewable energy solutions for urban development, which uses geothermal resources to provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water for any type of building.

The “Water and energy that give life to the city” campaign is being rolled out across Romania’s most important media channels: major TV and radio stations, 30 digital platforms, as well as outdoor placements in the main cities in Romania, including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Iași, and Sibiu.
