Ethics
The Ethics Guide provides a reference for all Veolia employees. Available on the corporate websites and the intranet, it outlines the Group’s values, rules of conduct and actions.
The values underpin the Group’s economic, social and environmental performances. They are also reflected in the skills and attitudes that each employee at Veolia is committed to implementing daily.
A behavior charter for managers has also been introduced, thereby ensuring that the Group’s core values are shared and respected in every entity.

Internal awareness-raising initiatives are organized by the Group's Compliance Department to ensure that the principles set out in these documents are upheld. Training programs covering compliance with competition law, the prevention of criminal risk and awareness of the risk of corruption have been rolled out in all the regions in which Veolia operates.

Veolia Romania – ISO 37001:2016 certifications
In 2019, at the initiative of the Veolia Group, Veolia Romania decided to implement a compliance program, whose main purpose was to detect and prevent misconduct in conflict with internal or national legal regulations.
The program success is reflected by obtaining the certification of the Anti-Corruption Management System in accordance with ISO 37001:2016. This valuable certification attests that Veolia Romania prevents and manages corruption risks, complies with international legislation in the field and above all, promotes integrity.
